We have included a short introduction to each show so you can begin to get an idea of whether it is suitable for your work or not. We endeavour to keep this page as up-to-date as possible, but we do recommend carefully researching each show before applying as some elements may differ to those we have listed here. 


Scotland's Trade Fair Spring

Location: SECC, Glasgow

Dates: late January 

Overview: Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring takes place over three days at the end of January. Over 500 companies exhibit thousands of products in clothing, textiles, jewellery, fashion accessories, clan products, beauty and bath products, stationery, giftware, gift food and speciality fine food. Around 5000 trade buyers from department stores, multiples, mail-order, online, tourist attractions and independent retail outlets will attend the show. The show incorporates the following Specialist Areas: Showcase Scotland, Launch Gallery, Scotland’s Speciality Food Show, and for 2016 will see the launch of the Craft Gallery, in partnership with Craft Scotland. 

Top Drawer & Home

Location: Olympia, London

Dates:  September and January

Overview: Top Drawer brings together a showcase of thousands of carefully selected British and international suppliers and designer/makers. Billed as London’s largest design-led gift trade event, Top Drawer takes place twice a year in January and September. Top Drawer, together with sister shows Home & CRAFT has a new permanent home in London’s Olympia. The three shows deliver a curated 'super-event' presenting buyers with more than 1,000 leading UK and international brands, all of which are hand-selected for their unique design, character and appeal.

Overview: Created to raise the profile and highlight the appeal of the handmade, CRAFT provides an opportunity for makers to develop and build lucrative commercial relationships with high street retailers, museums and gallery stores. CRAFT launched in January 2014, co-located alongside Home and Top Drawer. The event features the work of 100 designer/makers; all vetted by jury, with exhibitors from all disciplines from basketry to textile arts, working in both traditional and contemporary idioms.

British Craft Trade Fair (BCTF)        

Location: Great Yorkshire Showground, Harrogate

Dates: Mid April

OverviewBCTF has been promoting British handmade giftware for 40 years, longer than any other trade fair in the UK. Their online trade catalogue BCTF online features makers who participated in the show that year, bringing your products to buyers throughout the year. 

For 2016, BCTF will be launching an autumn showcase in September at the Old Truman Brewery, London. Spaces are limited to 200 exhibitors, and applications will open at the end of November 2015. 


Location: Earls Court, London

Dates: May

Overview: Known for directional content, influential buyers and stand out design, Pulse is a show with a reputation for quality and style. Pulse brings together hundreds of new and exclusive exhibitors and products, all curated by a panel of experts; and highlights the very latest trends, emerging talent, directional brands, product features and business insight to inspire and engage buyers 365 days of the year. Running during the summer and located at London’s Olympia, Pulse is a platform for designers looking to boost mid-season sales and meet unique and influential buyers located in London and the South East.

New Designers

Location: Business Design Centre, London

Dates: Part 1: Late June, Part 2: Early July

Overview: New Designers is the UK's most important exhibition for emerging design. Running across two non-consecutive weeks, new graduates can exhibit if represented by their university. The show is not open to new graduates exhibiting on a solo basis, but the show also hosts 'One Year On', a dedicated space within New Designers that presents young, entrepreneurial designers who are in their first year of business. It runs across both weeks of the show and covers all disciplines.

International Jewellery London

Location: Olympia, London

Dates: Early September

Overview: International Jewellery London is a unique opportunity to do business, share knowledge and network with the industry in the heart of London, all over three days. The IJL team select quality suppliers to showcase at IJL each year, and adhere to strict selection criteria. The seven product areas span the whole jewellery industry from product conception to product point of sale.

Pure London

Location: Olympia, London

Dates: Early August

Overview: Pure London is one of the leading fashion trade fairs with 13,000 visitors. As the biggest collection of womenswear, accessories and footwear, you can showcase your work to independent boutiques, multiples, department stores and online businesses at the show. Pure London utilise a multi-channel marketing and engagement campaign to present new platforms for visibility through digital and social media, attracting highly engaged, high-spending buying audiences in the lead up to and after the show.

Scotland's Trade Fair Autumn

Location: SECC, Glasgow

Dates: mid to late September

OverviewScotland's Trade Fair Autumn presents the year's last buying opportunity in Scotland for retailers to source both new products and to order from existing lines in time for Christmas. The show runs over two days in September at Glasgow’s SECC and provides a carefully balanced selection of 160 companies exhibiting homeware,textiles, jewellery, fashion accessories, clan products, beauty and bath products, stationery and general giftware. The show typically sees around 1750 trade buyers from department stores, multiples, mail-order, online, tourist attractions and independent retail outlets.

100% Design Fair

Location: Olympia, London

Dates: Late September

Overview: 100% Design is the largest and longest running contemporary design event for industry professionals in the UK, with 28,534 visitors in 2014 (ABC verified). For 2015, the show took over a new venue, moving to Olympia London. 100% Design is the commercial cornerstone event of the London Design Festival. Exhibitors are carefully selected, reflecting the show’s focus on design quality, innovation and relevance to the architecture and design community.

TENT London

Location: Old Truman Brewery, London

Dates: Late September

Overview: Tent London and sister-show Super Brands London together form one of the most predominant design trade shows taking place during the London Design Festival each September. Tent London is a great event to launch new products and innovations to international visitors. Raise your brand's awareness among trade, sell directly to design savvy consumers and forge new contacts with top industry figures

Decorex International

Location: Syon Park, London

Dates: Late September

Overview: Decorex International is internationally renowned for being the event to discover the very best, and most coveted products from a collection of 400 hand-selected exhibitors. With a rich heritage of 38 years, Decorex’s long standing reputation has proven the test of time; growing and evolving to remain exciting and innovative.

America & Canada

NY Now (Formerly The New York Gift Fair)

Location: Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre

Dates:  Two shows - Late January to early February and August

OverviewNY Now is a comprehensive market for gift, home, lifestyle and handmade products organised into a cohesive mix of top brands and emerging companies. The show layout is split into three Collections including HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE.

BIJOUX!, Florida

Location: Norton Museum of Art, Palm Beach, Florida

Dates: February-March

Overview: The Norton Museum of Art presents BIJOUX! - a four-day annual exhibition and sale of contemporary art jewellery by international artists. Since 2012, this regional art museum has presented one-of-a-kind contemporary art jewellery pieces, with the opportunity to purchase the work of over 40 artists from around the world.

Maison & Objet Americas, Miami Beach

Location: Miami Beach Convention Centre, Miami Beach, Florida

Dates: May

Overview: MAISON&OBJET AMERICAS offers an annual event for the North and South American trade and visitors. It brings together a selection of 300 brands representing the upscale spirit that was behind the success of MAISON&OBJET PARIS.

International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), New York

Location: Jacob K. Javits Convention Centre, New York

Dates: May

Overview: ICFF features what’s best and what’s next in contemporary design, luxury interiors and high-end furniture. They showcase work by top international furniture brands and emerging new talent, highlighting unique furnishings, seating, wall covering, carpeting, accessories, lighting, kitchen, bath, outdoor furniture and more. The show is geared to architects, interior designers and developers and designers of high-end retail environments.

Première Vision, New York

Location: PIER 92, 55th Street and the West Side Highway

Dates: January and July

Overview: Through this event, Première Vision provides an opportunity for North American professionals to meet exhibitors working in the fashion and textile industry who are offering fabrics, designs, leather, accessories, designs and manufacturing.

designjunction, New York

Location: ArtBeam, Chelsea

Dates: May

Overview: In May 2015, designjunction launched the official American version of their satellite show ‘edit’ during NYCxDESIGN in New York. designjunction edit New York received critical acclaims for its presentation of cutting-edge, contemporary design. More than 25 international brands exhibited in the industrial backdrop of a warehouse space in Chelsea. Central to the exhibition was a dedicated retail zone for visitors to shop on-site.               

Continental Europe

imm, Cologne

Location: Koelnmesse GmbH

Dates: January

Overview: The imm Cologne is a furnishing show held right at the start of every year. It presents the latest in international furniture and interiors. The huge breadth and depth of what's on show ranges from self-assembly furniture all the way to premium brands and visionary product designs.

Maison & Objet, Paris

Location: Parc d'Expositions Paris, Nord Villepinte       

Dates: January

Overview: MAISON&OBJET is a lifestyle show bringing together decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, tableware etc. MAISON&OBJET host a range of shows running across the globe, with their flagship event held across the large Parc d'Expositions de Villepinte in Paris.

HOMI, Milan, Italy

Location: Fiera Milano Rho, Italy             

Dates: January/February

Overview: HOMI Milan is a four-day event held at the Fiera Milano in Italy. The event showcases products in ten separate ‘Satellites’, offering ten dimensions of life and living including Living Habits, Home Wellness, Fragrance and Personal Care, Fashion and Jewels, Gifts and Events, Garden and Outdoor, Kid Style, Home Textile, Hobby and Work and the Concept Lab. 

Premiere Classe, Paris

Location: Jardin des Tuileries

Dates: January & September

Overview: Twice a year PREMIERE CLASSE showcases the entire range of fashion accessories. The winter collections are presented in January and the summer collections in September. 58,000 visitors come to discover shoes, jewellery, bags, leather goods and luggage, and other accessory collections.

Ambiente, Frankfurt, Germany

Location: Messe Frankfurt        

Dates: February

Overview: Ambiente offers the latest design trends and innovations alongside a partner country presentation. More than 134,000 trade visitors from over 150 countries go to see a forward-looking market overview and a wide range of unique goods. In 2015, more than 4,800 exhibitors from over 90 nations showcased their latest product ideas.


Location: Messe Munich International

Dates: February

Overview: INHORGENTA MUNICH showcases a huge range of jewellery and timepieces. The show exhibits manufacturers, designers and the jewellery wholesale trade.

Première Vision Paris

Location: Parc d'Expositions Paris, Nord Villepinte       

Dates: February

Overview: A global event for the entire textile industry, Première Vision Paris is comprised of six shows, each dedicated to a sector: Yarns, Fabrics, Designs, Accessories, Leather and Manufacturing. From fibre choices to fashion manufacturing, the show focuses on diversity and exchange, drawing industry professionals from all around the world.

Salone Internazionale del Mobile, Italy

Location: Milan Fairgrounds, Rho (Milan)         

Dates: April

Overview: The Milan Furniture Fair (Italian: Salone Internazionale del Mobile di Milano) is a furniture fair held annually in Milan. It is the largest trade fair of its kind, considered a leading venue for the display of new products by designers of furniture, lighting and other home furnishings. Industrial manufacturers and artisans; trade newspapers, magazines and publications; trade associations, consortia and organisations are all eligible to apply for the exhibition. The exhibit area is divided into different product styles (design, modern, classic).

Formland, Denmark

Location: MCH Messecenter Herning Kongrescenter    

Dates: August

Overview: Formland is a design community for the entire industry. Formland is divided into six different creative communities. Each community is an indicative of the exhibitors’ style, atmosphere and industry. You can exhibit within the following communities: Interior, Bloom, Food, Light, Tabletop or Upcoming. Formland has your products in mind every step of the way, from exhibition for retailers to positioning on store shelves, where they will be discovered by fellow design-lovers.

Indigo, Brussels

Location: Brussels Expo

Dates: September          

Overview: Indigo is a show dedicated to the home and decoration industries, displaying a creative offer of textile designs for weavers, printers, editors of decorative fabrics, makers of bed, table and bath linens, volume retailers, specialised distributors, manufacturers of floor and wall coverings, major home decoration brands, designers and design consultants. Indigo is held concurrently and alongside MoOD (formerly Decosit), the leading fair of furnishing fabrics with 230 exhibitors and 7,000 visitors from over 100 countries. Indigo welcomes 4,000 visitors.

Middle East & Asia

Design Shanghai

Location: Shanghai Exhibition Centre

Dates: March

Overview: Design Shanghai is Asia's leading international design event, breaking new ground and setting a precedent in China's ever-growing design community. Showcasing design brands and galleries from across the globe, Design Shanghai provides a platform to network and establish long-term business relations with China's top architects, interior designers, property developers, retailers and private buyers.


Location: Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre          

Dates: March

Overview: MAISON&OBJET is a lifestyle show offering decoration, design, furniture, accessories, textiles, fragrances, tableware etc. A reflection of the ever-growing industry trends of the region, MAISON&OBJET ASIA brings together an international offer of 300 exhibiting brands from more than 25 countries and offers a range of events.

Design Days Dubai

Location: Downtown Dubai, Mohammed bin Rashid Boulevard               

Dates: March

Overview: Design Days Dubai is the leading fair in the Middle East and South Asia dedicated to collectible and limited edition furniture and design objects. The fair presents design from leading international designers and galleries alongside up-and-coming design from across the world. The fair also presents a strong non-commercial programme consisting of education, workshops, installations and live performances.

Interior Lifestyle, Japan

Location: Tokyo Big Sight West Hall

Dates: June

Overview: Interior Lifestyle Tokyo is an international trade fair for Tokyo to propose lifestyle concepts in interior design markets from around the world. Interior Lifestyle Tokyo is composed of two trade fairs – Ambiente, the largest consumer goods trade fair in the world, and Heimtextil, an international trade fair for household and commercial textiles. Interior Lifestyle Tokyo is held in June, while its sister fair, IFFT/Interior Lifestyle Living, takes place in November. 

Pure Shanghai

Location: Shanghai New International Expo Centre

Dates: October

Overview: China is set to become the largest global fashion market by 2017, accounting for 25% of the entire market by 2025. By bringing the established concept of Pure London to China, Pure Shanghai will create a gateway into the Chinese fashion market. Pure Shanghai will run in March and October, presenting a line-up of international fashion brands to China's key retailers, agents, distributors, e-commerce partners and media.
