The Crafts Council's Hothouse has quickly established itself as a gold-standard professional development programme for new makers. This is the first year that Craft Scotland has sponsored a cohort of six makers all based in Scotland.

Craft Scotland has commissioned a series of three events called Tales in the Making and teamed up with the Scottish Storytelling Centre to present the events between Christmas and New Year.
At the start of next year Craft Scotland will be back on the road to deliver a series of roadshows across Scotland. Makers are invited to join us in five locations at the end of January and early February.
Fife Contemporary Art & Craft will host a Meet Your Maker event at St Andrews Museum on Sunday 07 December. The event will offer visitors the chance to look behind the scenes at the work of two practicing ceramicists from different generations, Archie McCall and Dawn Youll.
