  • Laura Murray: Meet Your Maker at Stirling Castle

In late 2014 Craft Scotland put out a call for makers to take part in a community engagement project with Historic Scotland, working directly with a youth or community group in Stirling Castle over a period of six weeks. Historic Scotland was looking for a maker who could unlock the potential of traditional or contemporary craft, enabling learners to discover more about their cultural heritage and providing creative inspiration linked to stories, people and events from the past.

Our successful maker, Laura Murray, has put together a blog of her experiences.
