    In our October round-up we bring you the final opportunity to apply to the Craft Gallery, a new dedicated area within Scotland's Trade Fair Spring in 2016. We have details of the Crafts Council's International Showcasing opportunity - we will work in partnership with the Crafts Council to shortlist makers to showcase during Design Miami and Design Miami/Basel, and applications are now open. We also announce a new Craft Scotland Prize: to be awarded at the VAS exhibition Converge 2016 to the maker of a piece of outstanding design and craftsmanship.

  • Cyan Clayworks: New Funded Project - Studio Growth and Development


    Cyan Clayworks was recently awarded funding through Creative Scotland which will enable an exciting new phase of growth and development. Part of the funding will be allocated for equipment; and part for hosting an international guest artist (in 2016) as a pilot scheme. As the third element of the project, the studio intends to offer structured placements for recent arts graduates.
