About Me

Personal Statement

Anne studied Printed Textiles at The Glasgow School of Art, and was taught by Robert Stewart. On graduating she worked in the knitwear industry, running a successful design and marketing business. She was instrumental in setting up the knit course at GSA and taught there until 2003.
Anne then trained in stained glass and now works in this field whilst also continuing her textile practice.

Influenced by a love of colour, pattern and light, she aims to express these elements through her work.

As well as exhibiting in various galleries around the UK Anne exhibits annually at the Pittenweem Arts Festival and is an active member of Cowal Open Studios.

Anne runs both textile and stained glass workshops throughout Scotland and is currently planning workshops in Spain.
