About Me

Personal Statement

Trees are one of natures most useful and recyclable creations, which can be transformed into beautiful and stunning pieces of art.

I prefer to create my pieces from wood sourced in Scotland such asĀ Beech, Spalted Beech, Oak, Brown oak, Sycamore etc.

My turned items have many practical applications for use around the home or office and as gifts.

They range from salt and peppers pots, bowls, candle sticks, pot pourries, clocks, calendars, pens, letter openers, speciality gifts such as curling stones, fruit shaped jewellery boxes, larger items such as wooden mirrors, foot stools, table lamps and many more.

I have also started to specialise in hand painted house signs, using a computer graphic as a template which allows the client to see how the sign will look and make any alterations to their choice before work commences in wood. This is very useful in areas such as Dunoon where most houses are named and not numbered.
