About Me

Personal Statement

Awarded first prize for Quality of Design and Craftsmanship by Scottish Gift of the Year 2002 and first prize by the Scottish Glass Society Exhibition in 2003, iGlass continues to challenge the boundaries between functional and non functional glass, resulting in beautiful contemporary designs, suitable for every day use or special occasions.

Following the completion of a Masters degree and training in the techniques of Glass Blowing in Scandinavia, and the United States, Ingrid Phillips established her own workshop in Edinburgh with the help of a grant awarded by the Scottish Arts Council. iGlass also undertakes lighting and architectural commissions, using both hot and cold working techniques.
