About Me

Personal Statement

After completing a fashion degree, Jane worked as P.A. to couture designer Lex McFadyen. Ten years ago she moved to a more theatrical background in the Citizens Theatre working with Rupet Everett, Sandy Powell, Antony MacDonald and world renowned director Peter Brooke.

Jane Watt is a contemporary fashion designer. Designs are based on historical antique costume. Her embroidered and embellished garments are designed using a delightful process which gives her work the look she has as her trademark. The quality of each garment is of the utmost importance to her, and therefore every garment is handmade. Her trademark soft-silks and hand-dyed chiffons give her feminine designs a timeless appeal.
