About Me

Personal Statement

Potter/sculptor working mainly in porcelain but with occasional forays into local and special clays. Recent work in porcelain and re-cycled glass; porcelain with metals and wood. Recent installations include giant porcelain dandelion heads with 1000 porcelain seeds; spinning wheel with 100 porcelain silk moths. New work with re-cycled materials for 2013 include series of black works based on crazy media hype, where words and lettering play a strong part.
Supports COAST, Art Aboyne, Pittenweem Art Festival, Founder member of Angus Open Studios, member SPA, Hospitalfield Arts Project.
Exhibited at Collins Gallery and work accepted for Open Exhibitions in 2012 for both RGI (Royal Glasgow Institution for the Fine Arts) and for RSA (Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh).
