About Me

Personal Statement

Working in the textile/knitting industry for 18 months before taking the plunge and starting my own business, after graduating from Grays School of Art, Aberdeen.

Inspired by geometric patterns found in ruined medieval churches and monastic buildings, building out and developing from these ideas to create unique and diverse patterns that are striking and bold. The colours are simple but effectively used to make the patterns stand out and distinctive in each design.

The cushions and snoods/scarves are knitted on a domestic knitting machine, made to order, and finished to a high standard.

Have sold in the U.K, America and Holland.

Year Established: 2015

Achievements

Going into Cloud 9 Gallery in Dumfries
Getting a Christmas Invitational membership to the Yellow Door gallery in Dumfries
Getting my cushions sent abroad to people after being bought in this country
