The Craft Scotland Summer Show is a firm fixture on the craft calendar. Our annual selling exhibition showcases contemporary, design-led craft throughout August, all housed on the second floor of White Stuff, George Street, Edinburgh.
A haven for design-lovers, our concept lifestyle store gives you a shopping experience like no other. A welcome break from the bustle of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, you can shop a carefully curated selection of distinctive homewares, handcrafted textiles, design-led jewellery and considered furniture. Pick up unique gifts: stunning 3D-printed jewellery, slip decorated earthenware, minimal concrete vessels and graphic textiles, all designed and made in Scotland.
You can visit the show between Friday 4 and Sunday 27 August 2017 (opening times vary, see below for details). Our makers and friendly team will be on-hand to offer you guidance and talk you through the process and materials behind the work.

This summer, make time to create in one of Craft Scotland’s maker-led workshops. Get stuck in to tropical appliqué and make accessories with fashion designer Emily Millichip; craft a bespoke silver ring all of your own with CARVE, or get back to nature and learn to carve a wooden spoon with Object Company.
2017 is the fifth year of the Craft Scotland Summer Show and the 70th anniversary of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. To celebrate, we are launching a curated programme of workshops run by a select handful of Scotland’s talented makers.
Relax, unwind and unleash your inner creativity with the careful guidance of our knowledgeable makers in the inspirational surroundings of our Summer Show. We have dedicated a section of our exhibition (on the Second Floor of White Stuff) to this creative space, and you will be provided with refreshments, inspiration and a host of new creative skills.
Our workshops have limited spaces, and you can book your place via the Edinburgh Festival Fringe website, or find out more below.
Another first for the Summer Show 2017: within the show space we will be hosting a coffee pop-up with Williams and Johnson Coffee Co. The micro-roastery will set up a pop-up coffee bar within the show, so you can enjoy a freshly-brewed pick-me-up whilst you browse the contemporary Scottish craft.
Set up in January 2016 Williams and Johnson Coffee Co is the creation of friends and seasoned baristas Zack and Todd. Based in Leith, they specialise in sourcing single-origin speciality coffee grown in a sustainable and ethical way from the finest plantations around the world. Each batch is roasted with precision and care to highlight the inherent quality of the bean, bringing out sweetness, brightness and clarity that is often lost in traditional roasting. The pair will be selling their carefully crafted coffees throughout the Craft Scotland Summer Show 2017.
