Rhythm is Stacey Bentley's second solo presentation at The Scottish Gallery.
Stacey has been working as a jewellery designer/maker for over six years and her work is carefully designed and handcrafted from her Edinburgh studio.
This year’s collection is inspired by her recent travels abroad with influence from Islamic Art and pattern, Egyptian architecture, Japanese symbols and African jewellery techniques to name a few. Stacey creates bold block-coloured surfaces with matt finishes, complemented with polished edges of gold and silver. She uses materials such as vitreous enamel, oxidised silver and gold leaf to create large, elegant statement pieces.
This exhibition will run from Wednesday 7 June to Saturday 1 July 2017.
